Friday Finds – September 29, 2017

Happy Friday – but more importantly, Happy National Coffee Day! As a major coffee drinker, today is up there with Christmas for me. In honor of this occasion, I figured I would have today’s “Friday Finds” be dedicated to all things coffee. Of course, if you’re looking for additional ways to celebrate, check out this list of places that are offering deals today.

To Buy:

Body Scrub (link)

I’ve never tried a coffee scrub before but fans of this product claim that not only does it help wake you up, it makes your skin feel amazing! I’m very tempted to give it a shot myself now.

Coffee Mugs (link)

If you’re like me and conversations aren’t happening until you’ve had your caffeine fix, these mugs are the perfect solution.

Tom Ford Candle (link)

My love affair with Tom Ford continues – the description of this candle sounds amazing. It’s the perfect mix of “coffee shop” and “earthy, sophisticated” scents for your home – definitely worth the price tag!

Dior Addict Lacquer Stick (link)

Not only is the “Black Coffee” shade appropriate for today, it’s one you’ll be able to rock all season long.

“If You Can Read This…” Socks (link)

Similar to the mugs above, words can be tough to get out in the morning. Hopefully someone will see your pleas for a cup of joe thanks to these socks.

Caffeine Molecule Necklace (link)

Want a sneaky way to broadcast your love of coffee? This is it. I cannot get over how adorable this necklace is. Additionally, it comes in a variety of colors.

Starbucks Logo Parody Workout Tank (link)

Because what better motivation to finish that workout strong than our beloved, iconic Starbucks mermaid?

To Watch:

“Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” on Netflix

The premise of this show sounds similar to “Carpool Karaoke”: Jerry Seinfeld drives around and picks up another famous guest and the show records their conversations as they go to get coffee.

“A Film About Coffee” on Hulu

This documentary is described as a “love letter” to specialty coffee and showcases the global preferences of how we enjoy this beverage, along with the process of creating it.

“The House of Hugh Hefner” from Esquire (link)

The only non-coffee story on this list but a really interesting profile that is obviously time-appropriate due to Hugh Hefner’s passing earlier this week.

The day's brews are tested at Blue Bottle Coffee in Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York

“Be a B+ Coffee Snob” from Slate (link)
